Finally! It took me so many tries to finally get the look I was going for. I’m glad I persevered as I do really like the results.
I first embossed the outside with a set of Lifestyle Crafts square dies, then stamped the “Thank You” with some white colourbox dye ink. I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and heat set it. Then, I created a mask to go over my letters with some Eclipse masking tape. I stamped the Hero Arts background stamp with the same white dye ink and embossed it too. All of the colouring was done with memento and distress markers. I liked using these markers because it was super easy to go back with a baby wipe once I was done colouring and wipe the marker off the embossed parts.
