Lately we’ve had a couple of birthday parties for our friends’ daughters. One was turning one, the other turning two. I used MFT’s Birthday Princess stamp for both of the cards I made.
The original image had 3 candles on the birthday cake, but since it was for a first birthday, I used a q-tip to remove the ink from the other 2 candles before stamping. I then filled in the lines with my copic multi-liner. Her dress is paper pieced (obviously :)), and her crown and the icing on the cake were covered with stickles.
Here is princess card #2:
Here I used 2 candles on the cake – but I wasn’t thinking ahead. I actually stamped the image untouched and had to cut the third candle off after I had coloured everything… silly me! I tried to cover it the best I could with stickles. The cardstock is all SU, and the paper is from Cosmo Cricket’s “Pixielicious” line.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a fabulous Saturday!
S.
