Oh the joys of late August for a teacher. The week before the labour day weekend means head in to the school and get the classroom ready. I spent all week in my new portable *cringe*, trying to beautify it. I think I did an excellent job and look forward to greeting my students next week. I took today off to spend one last non-holiday weekday with my little man. It was lovely. I’m certainly going to miss all the mommy-little man time, however I know that he is going to be just fine going to daycare… I hope : )
I also got in a few minutes of crafty time today so I spent it working on a card for this week’s Kraftin’ Kimmie Challenge. This week we are to create a “scene”. So, in the theme of back to school, I created this card:
This card reminds me of that new Old Navy commercial with Andrea and Brandon from 90210 – with the “new girl”… Anyway, featured here are Joanie and Richie – stamped in memento ink and coloured with copics. The papers are from a DCWV stack called “Hittin’ The Books”. The sentiment was typed on the computer and printed out. Phew! Got this one done in the nick of time!
Well, thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
